Today is 'Chu Xi'...whereby family members gather together for a Reunion dinner! HmMm...Yummy food! =))
To me, Chinese New Year is just like any public holiday whereby I can rest at home...because most of our relatives are located in Malaysia, we don't really go out for visits in SG. For me, most probably would be friend's house that is more common...
Now that times are bad, I can predict that most of the people will contribute lesser when they give out hongbaos. I don't expect much...but perhaps just extra allowances for the New Year! =))
Yesterday we went to Weishi's 21st birthday party organized near one of the void deck at her house. Eastanos peeps (mostly) went early to help her set up, I was late though! She made a scrapbook about her friends from secondary up till now...pretty interesting but I guess it is quite time consuming~
For the past 1 week, I felt much more motivated at work! Jo wong's (one of my colleague) spirit has made me want to work hard, close more positions and earn more money! I really hope that my team will be motivated as well so that we can working hard together to prove ourselves!! =)) If I really aim to earn $5000 at a much younger age (to be exact, I am thinking of 25 yrs old), I must really work hard and prove myself!!!! I believe I CAN DO IT!
Well, family wise...I guess I will be more fillal to parents, try to satisfy their needs since they are already so old now...Mum is back! And I got to check whether she needs my help to prepare food!
