HER MEMORIES

'I think I am amazing'...that's what I am thinking now...I just read through the previous 3 blogs that I have...and still alive now (although it deserted now), I think I am really amazed that I kept moving on despite so many things have happened to me or around me...
I really want to let those people whom made me unhappy in the past to know, BUT I guess it's no point since it was like in 2006/2007. Silly me. Haha...but I still miss the past!
Anyway, my brother and I helped out in the Eneloop Mountain Bike Carnival yesterday at Tampines Mountain Bike Park. I would say it's quite an eye opening event! I didn't know so many people are so crazy about Mountain Biking in SG (Hundreds of them?). Preparation starts from 4am plus in the morning till about 6am plus when people start to come in...first race starts from 7.30am and the last was 5pm (100km marathon) - very tough one. But we didn't manage to finish the last race and had to stop at 8.45pm due to the lightnings which posted danger to the participants! =( - I felt sad for those that wan to catch up towards the end...
I was the race secretarial with Su whereby the role is like customer service cum admin work...we have alot of participants coming to ask questions, protest, collect stuffs etc...I think it is quite a good experience, although I got very sticky and had alot of flies and bugs flying around us.
Things that I learnt/know:
- Roughly how a event runs
- How to handle difficult participants
- Biking stuffs & people
- Importance of networking
- Charming MC (Wayne - Will upload his photos)
Basically, its a combination of hard and soft skills which will be essential for myself! Thanks to Huimin and Su for letting me take part in this event...=)
I was really shag by the time we reached home...although it was earlier than the actual schedule. I bathe and dive on my bed almost immediately...till today 1.30pm! Hahas! Amazing eh? Almost everyone was out of the house when I was awake...
I ate my brunch before proceeding to pack my room and the living room - I feel guilty when brother wen said that I haven't been helping out in tidying up of the house. I understand...well...my room also nothing much to pack - too many things, headache. I will TRY to help...
I am getting abit sleepy...I will nap awhile before doing some personal/office stuffs later...=))
